The Dynamo street lamp project combines alternative ways of obtaining energy, performance action and light installation. Various mechanical devices already designed are based on the principle of the dynamo in order to produce electricity. The device is stepped on, rotated and pressed, while generating energy which manifests itself in the form of sound and light. Choreographer of movement Henrietta Hale (London) will create a show of movement and dance using selected local dancers who will activate the device for a nomadic – light – sound and dance performance.
