The cycle was first conceived in 2003, with the purpose of supporting a wider spectrum of creative composition and research in the field of audio-visual art, predominantly those non-popular forms which are rarely included in Slovenian programme offerings.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 60px;\"><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>5 September 2016, at 8 pm:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Resnik\/D\u2019Agaro<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3009\" src=\"http:\/\/arhiv.zavod-parasite.si\/slo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/CeneResnikQuartet-photo-by-Nada-Zgank.jpg\" alt=\"Cene Resnik, photo by Nada \u017dgank\" title=\"Cene Resnik, photo by Nada \u017dgank\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><strong>Cene Resnik<\/strong> is a tenor saxophonist who lives and works in Ljubljana. In recent years he has been intensively focusing on and researching the field and the borders of contemporary improvised music. From 2010 he actively collaborates with various creative local and foreign musicians. He is one of the most visible representatives of the Slovenian free jazz improvised scene. As a saxophonist he researches the possibilities of the tenor saxophone without external props or tools, he is interested in the primary span and range of the instrument.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3010\" src=\"http:\/\/arhiv.zavod-parasite.si\/slo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Daniele-Dagaro-photo-by-Luca-dAgostino.jpg\" alt=\"Daniele Dagaro, photo by Luca d'Agostino\" title=\"Daniele Dagaro, photo by Luca d'Agostino\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><strong>Daniele D\u2019Agaro<\/strong> Daniele D\u2019Agaro has been committed to jazz and improvisation professionally since 1979. Hailing from the Friuli Venezia Guilia region, he first moved to Berlin, then Amsterdam, where he played, performed and recorded in the 1980s and 1990s. He led his own groups, among them also Sean Bergin\u2019s MOB and Trio San Francisco with Tobias Delius and Sean Bergin, etc. In the 1990s he worked in the USA. He currently lives and works in Udine, Italy, and plays with the pianist Franco D\u2019Andrea from Globe Unity Orchestra and with Aki Takase. With his projects he tours around the world.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019Agaro and Resnik are improvising musicians. We know them already from the cast of Robert Juki\u010d\u2019s Operation Charlie. Both improvise with a large dose of inspiration and group play. Their playfulness is that which travels through the sound landscape of a tenor saxophone and a clarinet.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trio Moder\/Dra\u0161ler\/Rendla<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3012\" src=\"http:\/\/arhiv.zavod-parasite.si\/slo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Jani-Moder-photo-by-Simon-Pintar.jpg\" alt=\"Jani Moder, photo by Simon Pintar\" title=\"Jani Moder, photo by Simon Pintar\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><strong>Jani Moder<\/strong> is a top and internationally recognized guitarist who already for several years belongs among the most visible Slovenian musical creators. He started playing classical guitar at 8 years old, later he earned a B.A. with honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he received a number of awards. He also completed his master\u2019s with honors at the Academy of Music in Graz, Austria. He has played in concerts and recordings with a number of foreign and local excellent musicians and orchestras (European Movement Jazz Orchestra) around Europe, America and Africa. As a guest he has collaborated on more than 40 album releases. He teaches jazz guitar at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana and at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Moder\/Dra\u0161ler\/Rendla Trio<\/strong> will present new original music, soon to be released on an upcoming CD. Alongside Moder are Dra\u0161ler on double bass and Rendla on drums, percussion and effects. They are primarily interested in accomplished group play, improvisation, intercommunication and plenty of freedom in making music.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><strong>5 September 2016, at 8 pm:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u017diga Golob<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3014\" src=\"http:\/\/arhiv.zavod-parasite.si\/slo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Ziga-Golob-photo-by-Remigio-Gabellini.jpg\" alt=\"\u017diga Golob, photo by Remigio Gabellini\" title=\"\u017diga Golob, photo by Remigio Gabellini\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>After completing secondary school at the conservatory of music in Ljubljana, double bassist and bass guitarist <strong>\u017diga Golob<\/strong> worked in various line-ups. His path led him from the reggae-afro group Afro Sound, early improvisations with Lado Jak\u0161a, regular performances with Vlado Kreslin, concerts and recordings with Big Band RTV Slovenia to working in the Slovenian jazz scene. We can hear him on nearly 100 albums released in Slovenia and abroad. He currently collaborates with Tamara Obrovac, Chris Eckman, Neca Falk, Klarisa Jovanovi\u0107 &amp; Della Segodba, Severa Gjurin and others.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vasko Atanasovski<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3013\" src=\"http:\/\/arhiv.zavod-parasite.si\/slo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Vasko-Atanasovski-photo-by-Ursa-Lukovnjak.jpg\" alt=\"Vasko Atanasovski, photo by Ur\u0161a Lukovnjak\" title=\"Vasko Atanasovski, photo by Ur\u0161a Lukovnjak\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>Saxophonist and flutist <strong>Vasko Atanasovski<\/strong> is known aboveall for his transgenre collaborations with world renowned jazz, rock, classic and traditional musicians and his masterful approach to various musical styles. With his music he has crossed India, China, Argentina, the US and Europe, where he has performed at numerous eminent venues. He has collaborated with Vlatko Stefanovski, Marc Ribo, Hindi Zahro, Living Colour, Tommy Emmanuel and others. He is the founder of many musical groups and the composer for chamber, orchestral and choir groups as well as for puppet, dance and theatre performances.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gratzer\/Krhlanko <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3011\" src=\"http:\/\/arhiv.zavod-parasite.si\/slo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Georg-Gratzerby-photo-Reinhard-Sock.jpg\" alt=\"Georg Gratzer, photo by Reinhard Sock\" title=\"Georg Gratzer, photo by Reinhard Sock\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><strong>Georg Gratzer<\/strong> is Austrian multi instrumentalist and a well-versed flutist. His travels around the world have led him to many musical collaborations. Inspired by journeys to India, China and South America he extended his range of native instruments (Chinese Dizi &amp; HuLuSi, the Indian Bansuri or the Peruvian Zampo\u00f1a) and at the same time became acquainted with different types of traditional folk music which he has integrated into his world of music. After his solo performance in first set he will play in second one with Bojan Krhlanko.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/arhiv.zavod-parasite.si\/slo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Bojan_Krhlanko_by_Jan_Prpic.png\" alt=\"Bojan Krhlanko, foto: Jan Prpi\u0107\" title=\"Bojan Krhlanko, foto: Jan Prpi\u0107\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3043\" \/><strong>Bojan Krhlanko<\/strong> began his musical journey as a self-taught drummer. In 2001 he was invited to collaborate with the group The Stroj, with whom he performed on acclaimed events. Then he enrolled in the study of jazz-pop drumming at the Carinthian State Conservatorium in Klagenfurt and graduated in 2012.
