He currently lives in New York. He has worked with many of the great names of the global jazz scene, such as Bob Mintzer, Seamus Blake, Michael Philip Mossman, Marcus Gilmore, and many others. He has released five original albums that received excellent international reviews. According to jazz magazine All About Jazz, his album <em>Devotion<\/em> (Whirlwind Recordings, 2014) is one of the top twenty jazz records of 2014. In 2019, he released the albums <em>Place to Live<\/em> (Justin Brown, Harish Raghavan, feat. Jonathan Hoard) and <em>The Brooklyn Sessions <\/em>(Marko \u010crn\u010dec, Joris Teepe, Billy Hart). He learned from musicians such as Reggie Workman, Jimmy Cobb, Nat Adderley and Victor Lewis. He has returned to Slovenia in 2003, where he is teaching percussion at the Koper Music School. His most notable collaborations include Mark Turner, Du\u0161ko Gojkovi\u0107, Rachel Gould, Danilo Gallo, Marc Abrams, and others. Kod\u00e1ly Spicy Jazz project aims to enable young people to reconnect with Zolt\u00e1n Kod\u00e1ly&#8217;s musical legacy. The latter marked the musical scene of the 20th century by discovering traditional folk songs and the use of their elements in jazz music. In addition to the trombonist Denis Beganovi\u010d, the acoustic trio is composed of <strong>Mario Babojeli\u010d<\/strong> (classical guitar, sound effects) and double bassist <strong>Peter Smrdel<\/strong>. The author describes <em>Senses <\/em>as personal, intimate, ambient. The songs were created during last autumn and winter, with dreams and seasons as the conceptual framework of the album.
