The P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Museum of Contemporary Arts began its series of fall exhibitions in September on the group exhibition\u00a014 x 14<\/em><\/strong> in Elias Canetti Haus in Ruse, Bulgaria. In October, P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Museum participates with a new project in the international exhibition\u00a0Performing the Museum<\/em> <\/strong>in Art Gallery Slovenj Gradec.Exhibition is a joint project of partner organizations: Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, Novi Sad and Antoni Tapies Foundation, Barcelona.<\/p>\n Alongside there will be two independent presentations of\u00a0 P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Museum. On 29 September 2015, opens the solo exhibition\u00a0COLONY<\/em><\/strong> at\u00a0Art Gallery Kula<\/strong> in Split. The exhibition is dedicated to the topic of geopolitics and the geopolitical. >Recently, the Dutch publishing house\u00a0nai010publishers <\/em>released the comprehensive publication\u00a0Informal Market Worlds, Reader. The Architecture of Economic Pressure<\/em><\/strong>, co-edited by Peter M\u00f6rtenb\u00f6ck, Helge Mooshammer, Teddy Cruz and Fonna Forman. It was developed in cooperation with Vienna University of Technology; Goldsmiths, University of London; the Center for Urban Ecology, University of California San Diego; and the Shanghai Study Centre University of Hong Kong. > In the upcoming weeks we are also expecting the first reprint of the book\u00a0\u00a0Architettura parassita. Strategie di riciclaggio della citt\u00e0<\/em><\/strong> by Sara Marini<\/strong>, which was first issued in 2009. Sara Marini is an architect, researcher and professor at the\u00a0\u00a0Universit\u00e0 Iuav di Venezia. One chapter in the book is also dedicated to the parasitic operational strategies of the P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. \nOn 24 September 2015, the City Art Gallery of Ljubljana opens the international exhibition\u00a0I<\/em><\/strong>NSIDE OUT \u2013 NOT SO WHITE CUBE<\/em><\/strong> <\/strong>prepared by curators Suzana Milevska and Alenka Gregori\u010d with numerous external collaborators. It is the first exhibition project that intensely deals with the relations between artist and art institutions. One of the project\u2019s main question is how did institutions influence and change one another while interacting and\/or cooperating during the transformation of the political system in Central and Eastern European countries.<\/p>\n
\nLast year\u2019s\u00a0retrospective exhibition\u00a0Hills and Valleys and Mineral Resources<\/em><\/strong> by Tadej Poga\u010dar and the P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Museum of Contemporary Arts held at the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana moves in the beginning of December 2015 to the\u00a0Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb<\/strong>. The exhibition in Zagreb presents a new variation of the Ljubljana set-up, accompanied by a new publication. The curators of the exhibition are Igor \u0160panjol and Martina Munivrana, the producers and organisers of the exhibition are Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana and Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb. A rich program of accompanying events will take place alongside the exhibition.<\/p>\n
\nThe book\u00a0Informal Market Worlds, Atlas<\/em> maps new types of urban systems that reveal how the informal economy has become a political instrument in the fight for integration into global markets. Together, the Reader and the Atlas present numerous theoretical contributions and case studies while simultaneously researching ways for halting the dominant logic of the neoliberal trade system.
\nThe book\u00a0Informal Market Worlds, Atlas<\/em> also includes the evolving\u00a0Street Economy Archive (2001\u2013present)<\/strong> of\u00a0Tadej Poga\u010dar<\/strong>, which has been on display on several international exhibitions, most recently on his 2014 retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Ljubljana.<\/p>\n
