All three set-ups are part of the joint final exhibition of a research and training project, which took place in Ljubljana over several years. The project Second Explosion \u2013 the 1990s (2014\u20132017) takes place simultaneously in Ljubljana and Slovenj Gradec, thus the second part of research on the 1990s will be on display at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Koro\u0161ka (KGLU) and the Carinthian Regional Museum in Slovenj Gradec (9 Dec 2016 \u2013 23 Feb 2017).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3162\" src=\"http:\/\/arhiv.zavod-parasite.si\/slo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/apolonija-sustarsic_juice-bar.jpg\" alt=\"Apolonija \u0160u\u0161ter\u0161i\u010d, Bonnevoie? A., Bonnevoie, Luxembourg; Photo: Roman Mensing, Apolonija \u0160u\u0161ter\u0161i\u010d; Courtesy of the artist<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>The current exhibition at the P74 Gallery features works by Apolonija \u0160u\u0161ter\u0161i\u010d, Vuk \u010cosi\u0107 and Marko Peljhan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the explosion of the Neo-avant-garde in the \u201960s, primarily heralded in Slovenia by the OHO group, the \u201990s brought a second explosion of artistic production, which was, in its own way, a continuation of the radical art practices from the \u201960s and \u201970s. The exhibitions in Ljubljana showcase a segment of artistic production that we might label as \u2018art after post-modernism\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition The Second Explosion \u2013 the \u201990s feature a first look at the radical practices in Slovenian visual art in the 1990s. It will present works and projects at the National Museum of Slovenia \u2013 Metelkova, the P74 Gallery, and the \u0160kuc Gallery by Jo\u017ee Bar\u0161i, Vuk \u0106osi\u0107, Maja Licul, Marko Peljhan, Alenka Pirman, Tadej Poga\u010dar, Marjetica Potr\u010d, Marija Mojca Punger\u010dar, Franc Purg, Anja \u0160majdek, Nika \u0160pan, Apolonija \u0160u\u0161ter\u0161i\u010d and Janja \u017dvegelj.<\/p>\n<p>To accompany the exhibition, a rich catalogue has been published featuring texts by Bo\u017eo Repe, Tadej Poga\u010dar, Nina Popi\u010d and Polona Pober\u017enik, Dejan Habicht, Barbara Sterle Vurnik, Vladimir Vidmar in Tja\u0161a Poga\u010dar Podgornik.
