If you find yourself in London this upcoming weekend, you are warmly invited to visit the OFFPRINT Art Publishing Fair in Turbine Hall at Tate Modern, London, from 19 to 21 May 2017. The fair is free and open from 18h to 22h on Friday and from 12h to 20h on Saturday and from 12h to 18h on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following an invitation from the organizer, LUMA Foundation, P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Institute will be participating this year for the first time in the 2017 London edition of this fair that takes place twice annually in London (May) and Paris (November). Dedicated to independent and self-publishing of artist’s books and publications as well as photo books, Offprint is already in its third edition and is one of the fastest growing fairs today. <\/p>\n

The fair will host 130 independent and experimental producers, publishers and self-publishers from 16 countries who work in the field of contemporary arts, photography and graphic design. There is also a rich programme of accompanying events (book signings, talks with artists), workshops and performances.<\/p>\n

Along with presenting the current local production of art books and publications in London, P74 Gallery is preparing an exclusive promotion of the catalogue Second Explosion \u2013 The 1990s (published recently to accompany the eponymous exhibition which highlighted the artistic production of the 1990s in Slovenia and was on view in Ljubljana and Slovenj Gradec) as well as the promotion of a new artist’s book Nine Tanks (and several blank pages), that was created for the exhibition The SP Files by Tadej Poga\u010dar recently held in Ljubljana’s \u0160kuc Gallery in April 2017.<\/p>\n

As the only micropublisher of artist’s books in the region, P74 Gallery has been successfully participating in international artist’s book fairs for already a decade. After the London fair, we will participate in the MISS READ: The Berlin Art Book Fair in Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin this July and in the largest and most prestigious NY Art Book Fair in New York this September.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
