Newly gained independence and construction of a new cultural and institutional system.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture is based on the study and presentation of the multi-year project \u201c<strong>The Second Explosion\u201d<\/strong>, culminating in 2016 with the eponymous exhibition organized by the Institute P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. and the P74 gallery held at several locations in Ljubljana and a catalog with texts by\u00a0<strong>Bo\u017eo Repe, Tadej Poga\u010dar, Nina Popi\u010d and Polona Pober\u017enik, Dejan Habicht, Barbara Sterle Vurnik, Vladimir Vidmar and Tja\u0161a Poga\u010dar Podgornik<\/strong>, designed by\u00a0<strong>Ajdin Ba\u0161i\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter the explosion of the Neo-avant-garde in the \u201960s, primarily heralded in Slovenia by the\u00a0<strong>OHO<\/strong>\u00a0group, the \u201990s brought a second explosion of artistic production, which was, in its own way, a continuation of the radical art practices from the \u201960s and \u201970s. The exhibitions in Ljubljana showcased a segment of artistic production that we might label as \u2018art after post-modernism\u2019.
